I would just like to say that for the first time in my working life (past 5 years, give or take) I have pooped in a work bathroom. I am so terrified of pooping in public places and usually hold it 'til I get home, but I guess I had a few too many 7&7s last night and that shit literally wanted out. God knows it'll be another five years before I do it again...
Went to Megan MacMurphy's last night to watch the Mets game. $%$LK%JLKFJGLK$J%#$% it's so difficult to be a Mets fan. We had a 9-RUN LEAD until the 7th inning then slowly and steadily the Phillies caught up til it was the bottom of the 9th, 10-9, 2 outs, 1 on and fecking rat boy Jayson Werth hits a fastball (thanks Wagner) out to right field that (THANK GOD) Chavez catches maybe 3 meters from the warning track to end the game. Too close for comfort. Do not like Werth (he also hit the 2-run homer to send Sunday's game into extra innings). Especially do not like Wagner (I've never seen him "save" a game as he's known to do). Do love Chavez though (is pretty and nice and has been hitting well lately too).
I left the bar feeling agitated and had to cart drunk Joe home where he passed out watching South Park on his chair while I read. I don't understand the appeal of South Park and I don't have any drothers of ever trying to figure out what the appeal is either. I guess I don't "get" many cartoon programs - I didn't grow up watching cartoons. I will, from time to time, watch Family Guy (especially when drunk) because it's ridiculous and my kind of retarded humor. But my growing up shows were Star Trek and Doogie Houser. I didn't watch Saturday morning cartoons. My extent of cartoon was Gnomes and Eureka's Castle.
Oh well. The world never makes sense.
Neither does this entry... and neither do the Mets... so I guess it's a toss up. Here's to hoping the Mets can further their lead tonight and bring them to 1.5 games away from the Phillies...
