In snark news:
1) Grey's Anatomy premiere? NOT EPIC. Those two hours could have easily been condensed into 30 minutes. Callie and Erica are lesbians? Duh. Lexie is in love with George? Duh. Meredith is wishy-washy on moving in with Derrick? Duh. The only thing I DIDN'T see coming was McArmyman and Christina... holy hell. And now I have to wait TWO weeks for a new episode... but this one looks to be epic. We shall see...
2) Syracuse University closed off the walkway between Comstock and Shaw and SU students are PIIIISSSSED. Um, hello? Whine-one-one? I need a whambulance, STAT! (gobigpelf = ME). Oh my god, it's going to add 30 seconds to your daily walk if you have to go around Shaw. THE FUCKING HORRORS. Quit your whining and drive your Beemer to campus to park illegally. Your parents will pay for your parking tickets, no questions.
3) The power went out here at work today for a split second... in which time I lost ALL my unsaved computer documents. Including all my work that needs to be done daily. WHAT THE HELL. IT'S NOT EVEN STORMING (yet).

Sounds like I didn't miss much from the half hour of Grays (because my DVR decided not to work properly) by watching The Office (which was awesome BTW) instead.
What were you expecting from that Episode anyways??? I think it'll make the show more interesting if Hahn and Torres are lesbians... particularly seeing that there is only one person outside of those two that know their sitch, which you know is going to blow up in their faces at some point this season, it just makes for one more interesting snippit they can pretty much make a good portion of an episode out of... so "lesbians? duh" ...is there an argument that would make the show more interesting if they weren't lesbians????
Lexie in love with George? I'm waiting for her to tell him that when she saw his score, he didn't actually fail by a point, he failed by a lot and just went off on the chief and ends up bombing his test the second time, or! he takes it again and does very well and Lexie is left behind while George succeeds. Again... another plot line that could go either way, and any way they shape it is certainly better than just George or Lexie alone on the show by themselves not in a relationship with each other.
Meredith and Derrick? Could you get more Ross and Rachel out of them (How unoriginal BTW)? I think you missed the boat on that one though however... The reason why it's interesting this season is that Derrick's ex-bitch (Rose is it) just went and hooked up with Alex at the end of that last episode.... or someone who looked a lot like her (Rebecca? I could be wrong on that one)... but if I'm correct, it not only just blew up in Izzie's face, but could re-surface at a later point and Derrick and Alex could Day-stroy each other.
Christina? well... she just annoys me. McArmyman is going away... and at the end of the episode he told her that she should go out in the field to work in a trauma unit, and then leaves to go back! If there is a relationship there, it isn't a long lasting one... or potentially you could see Christina leaving the show... since her and Meredith made a huge thing about being each others 'person' or whatever... how fitting would be be if Christina left the show....
That's my take (even after missing a half hour!)... ms. Glass-is-half-empty.
