I'm being forced (read: not forced, shut up) to promote. I get free shit, I promote... rules of life, yes/yes? (I'm trying to be a nice person here, since I rarely am - I much prefer to tell people to fuck off but I'm learning that that isn't the best way to make friends... and I like friends, kinda).
I went down to this place yesterday - technically not open on Mondays, but I've got insider info. I was actually heading to the Hoynes for some drinks and to watch the SU game, but I was forced (once again, read: not forced) to go down to Armory Square early and show my face. I reluctantly changed out of my pajamas, which I'd been wearing since 2pm (shut up), and got Rockstar Parking on Fayette. And walked. And rode the sketchy elevator. And fought the urge to stop in Scarab and ogle John Joyce.
(I love me some JJ.)
The shop is awesome. (Why haven't I gone in before?) The owner's pretty cool too - although I should probably mention I'm biased towards the modified sort and people that love Everclear. I looked around, saw lots of cute dresses my boobs wouldn't fit in, saw a shirtless man (shut up AGAIN!), danced to a remix version of the Thong Song (you know, maybe go home, put on the Thong Song, see what happens?) and was pretty late to go watch the game, natch.
So yeah, go to Modern Pop Culture. Buy shit from Nate. TELL HIM HE NEEDS TO SELL PURSES.
PS: I really, really, really love How I Met Your Mother. Like, this is an unhealthy obsession. I want to be Barney Stinson (SUIT UP!)... even though I'm more of a Ted Moseby.

How I met your mother... awesome show... Robyn = super hot.
BTW... I'm Ted Moseby! You can't take that away from me. However... at times easily confused with Marshall.
and by the way... you ARE Barney Stinson when you are single I would just like to mention.
I didn't realize you watched HIMYM! Robyn IS super hot... I'd totally do her. And yes I am Barney when I'm single (and you love hearing allllll about it). So does this mean I have to go around to all the girls and say "Haaaaaave ya met Don?" Because that doesn't quite have a ring to it...
